About Birkelygaard

My family and I purchased Birkelygaard in January 2018, and the majority of the property has since been renovated thoroughly.

We live in the main section of the property and have converted one of the two wings into a guesthouse. The other wing is used by my husband, Christian Lauesen, as the office and showroom for the Danish design company Ro Collection.

Opening hours:

All year. January-March, however, only open for larger events or seminars.

Check-in

There is no reception at Birkelygaard, nor can we be available around the clock. Our face-to-face contact will primarily take place upon check-in and at breakfast.

Check-in takes place between 4-5 pm.
Check-in after this time should be agreed upon in advance.

Between 8 am -9 am, unless otherwise agreed

10:30 am at the latest

Good beer, soft drinks and wine is available on site
The guest kitchen and its facilities are available for your use

Large garden with furniture
Barbeque can be borrowed (remember to bring your own charcoal)
Hair dryer available upon request
High-chair (for children) and childrens bed can be provided
We have a small playground with slides, climbing frame, sand pit and football goals
Pets are unfortunately not allowed
Smoking is only permitted outside

Shopping: Købmanden in Hastrup (4 km) or Faaborg (10 km)
